Thank you, with all the drama in lending and trying to get homes closed, this was a nice way to re gain some perspective.

Thank you for a very inspirational message and recognizing our dear friend and mentor, Ebby Halliday. Yes, she loved whatever she did! I love what I do too! Retire? No. When something
ceases to be fun, I'm done! Not today! Hope to see you in Dallas!

I would have loved to have been able to take her to lunch and “pick her brain”! Listening to her story makes me think about how many realtors she was able to mentor over her lifetime. I am a newer realtor, 2 1/2 years. I was able to get connected with a great mentor who has helped me to be quite successful. I would encourage all of you who have been doing real estate for a long time to consider mentoring someone. I know sometimes we as realtors do not want to share our secrets, but lets be honest. You can’t take all the business and you don’t need to in order to be successful. My mentor has not only helped me but he has changed the course of my family’s life. We can leave our family a big fat estate which can be spent in a short period of time, but a legacy can last for generations.

Great show. Ebby is a huge name here in DFW.

Now when mentioning the Expo in Dallas, why did you have a pic of Austin in the background?

  28. Very good show today! I know you both come from the lending side. Yet, in order to make you both better than you already are, just a note of fact is that the term, REALTOR®, is a federally registered trademark. Per NAR, proper usage of the term REALTOR® should always be in CAPS followed by ® service mark. Keep up the great shows! TIMOTHY

Wow, she is a total inspriation to me. Guys, I'd give her a little more credit. I have a feeling she was pretty good at technology. I would have loved to have shadowed her over a period of a month to see how she worked. 70 years, wow. I loved how she just kept working. I've always wanted to do the same thing. Total retirement sounds boring to me.

Guys, you nailed it with this episode!

It was the single most moving tribute to our craft that I have ever heard or read.

Ebby was a legend and her legacy to us is EXACTLY, love what you do!

    Helping People!

KISS – Keeping it simple, stupid, is what it's all about.

In my 38 year career and counting, I will forward this tribute to everyone I know and hope that when my day of reckoning comes, that there will so many more lives that I've touched and improved with the practice of my GIFT!

Let's face it, this is the most rewarding job that any of us could ever do.
