I first thought this video was a spoof! There is nothing in the housing data to support the claims made in this video. Housing starts are about 250,000 a year below just keeping up with population growth. We are about 5 years behind in construction of new homes and inventory is very tight. Case Schiller reported today a 6.4% growth nationwide with Denver, Seattle, San Francisco showing the fastest growth. Wage growth is strong which will support a ongoing strong housing market. Even Barry Habib is bullish on housing. Barry is usually right!
