Soooo, if Fannie/Freddie could have kept their profits after paying back the first bailout, they would probably have a nice cushion to help in this situation. How about they just stop taking their profits… Our government is nothing but a bunch rob Peter to pay my pocket/my agenda politicians… This really pisses me off, years of the government hording massive profits from Fann/Fredd and look where we are now. Pathetic…

It baffles me how our Govt is tripping over itself in the infancy stages of COVID19. ESPECIALLY considering the level of calamity we encountered in 2008, we should be using that as a litmus for what NOT to do – to keep things “as solvent as possible” – to get us through this disaster, collectively.
