Excellent comments from Barry. I especially liked his remark where he said ‘Either way, lock or float, we and our clients ARE gambling’. I have told my borrowers that for years when the decision to Lock or Float came up in our conversation. I agree fully that time is not on our side when it comes to rates and, generally speaking, we should err on the side of caution and lock them if we’ve got ’em.
