Well we seem to have touched a nerve with yesterday with our story about using the new Pokemon Go app, so naturally today we’re Going Deeper with Pokemon Go in Real Estate.

I think its a great idea! Before your video yesterday, I was already researching how my office, which is located in downtown Woodstock, GA, could be a Pokestop. I have 4 children, 8 grandchildren. I know my kids and grandkids are playing so I KNOW its a marketing 'gem' to 'tap' into! I'm sure a couple of years from now it will be something different, but we, as Real Estate agents, need to keep up with the latest marketing idea to reach the buyers and sellers! Thanks for your ideas guys!
I've already begun instituting it into my open house plans. It's easy, quick, and I am very interested to see the outcome!
I love the idea!! Will definitely take advantage of Pokemon Go!! You guys are brilliant!!!!

Wow
Back in the day, late 90’s for me, when my kids were under 10 we got into this.
I have 20,000+ cards in binders by sets and we played at the local card shop on weekends for prizes.
It was good clean fun, I would be willing to sell off my cards today as they take a lot of space in my office.
But it was a great strategy games then and as you point out it works today.
My 22 year old little girl, if 22 can be called little, is deep into this coming home at 5AM one morning having been out to a Pokemon All Night Party with friends looking for the Pokemon all over town
So, think of it a targeted marketing

Update us on the outcome please Charles…I'd love to know how it panned out.

Ok, Pokemon, not Pokeman. Great idea.
If you find out, let me know! My office (lender) is in Roswell, I would love to make my office a hunting ground for them! 🙂
I am a millennial LO who has been spending my evenings walking around the park with my wife catching Pokemon. I never played it as a kid, but now I am hooked on this app. I have already been having real estate conversations with strangers just because we are all out in the sunshine together playing the same exact game. Imagine being at a party where 100 people are sitting around playing THE SAME GAME. It's impossible not to strike up conversations! My opening statement sounds like: "I just closed a challenging escrow for one of my clients today and I decided to reward myself with an evening of Pokemon. I decided to drop a lure and also use my lucky egg for double xp. Now I'm going to sit back, catch and evolve my 20+ Pidgeys because they only require 12 candies to evolve, thus giving me loads of xp".
Also FYI, you can't put lures on Gyms. Lures are for "Poke-stops". Gyms are where you battle your Pokemon. Go Team Mystic in Long Beach CA!
I created a FB Live video at one of my FOR SALE signs asking for players to post back to me an AR photo with a Pokemon on or near my sign to get them a giftcard. Thanks for the tips.
I love it! We are going to use it! I'll let you know how it goes and exactly how we use it. I think you are spot on! I've been selling homes for 31 years and now more than ever, the entire family is controlled by children. What the children want, what makes the children happy, etc. I'm a boomer and I love it!
Great webinar….wish you could have recorded…..I have shared the highlights with some associates, but wish they could have seen it! ~aka "Brian Richardson"~ : )
