  1. Dontx says:

Either the woman is clueless or just a lying politician who will say anything to get elected – even if she has to play the race card. In either case, the woman is dangerous!

  2. Valencia says:

    Absolutely right guys-Total BS

  3. Steve says:

    I am with you 100%

  4. Can you imagine the "hoops" she'd have to jump through? large deposits from speaking engagements, multiple business returns and P&L's, the 150 address explinations on credit . . . the list would be a mile long . . . .it would be comical

  5. Leo Chomen says:

I have tried to stay out of the political debate because I don't like any of the candidates. This a maddening statement. My business is split rather equally between all types and all races. Everyone is having a hard time. I have had White 50+-year-old's complaining about their mortgage process and the hoops they have had to jump through. Comments like that only divide our country. We all want to sell houses and the mortgage folks don't care who they sell mortgages to.plain and simple, that statement was just made to cater to people for votes. That is very sad.

  6. Infuriating! She has no clue what she's talking about!!! EVERYONE is jumping through those hoops!!!

  7. Kat Whitman says:

My thoughts exactly, Leo. She, obviously, is so far removed from what is reality…she would be better off to proffer NO comments vs. making up what she thinks people want to hear. I rarely get involved in politics but, this makes me want to find her and enlighten her…what is also sad is that politicians, who have so much control over our livelihoods, know nothing about the industry or the average person.

  8. Rob Aubrey says:

    **********

Everything above is true. Yet, she still gets the Democratic votes.
    Does anyone understand this???

  9. Amy L. Troup says:

Everyone…Everyone has many hoops to go through to get a mortgage.
the reason we are in this mess has to do with a bill that was created in 1999 during guess who's presidency! She knows about the bill that allowed the insurance Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac/FHA to back loans that never should have been given…
our country has a very rocked foundation due to this bill that is referred to as
"everyone deserves the american dream of owning a home"
(I would say True…if they can afford it, and can prove it.)
It is extremely difficult for EVERYONE now to get a loan…
I can see the sneaky, coniving in her eyes as she says this to the 24 year old man in the video….
    Lies lies lies
My joke…which in honesty has more reality than joke in it…is "how can hilary run for a third term"
her husband had monica…while hilary ran the country
look what she did..or they did to our good economy and safety
    wanna risk it again?
we wouldn't date someone who lied as much as her ever again
why would you vote for her to be president???

im pissed…as you can tell… WAKE UP AMERICA

  10. Alan Trout says:

Her pandering is racist. She turns everyone into a victim so they have to depend on the governent or govenment official as their defenders. Its a vicious cycle that divides the country. Our country is not becoming divided along racial lines but along the line of victim and non-victim, It is very sad. Everyone would be better off to keep the government out of their lives. In my city if lenders were not lending to minorities they would have no business. I have been in the realestate industry for 19 years. In business you can't afford to be a biggot. You guys are awlays so accurate on your assesments. I watch every video. Keep up the good work.

  11. How true! I am a Realtor and I had a long time, fifth house purchase with me, white female client with am 850!! Credit score and SHE had a hard time! She had even paid off her previous home in 5 years owned it free and clear, had tons of money in savings and investments and wanted to downsize and buy a $200,000 home, the leader expensive of her previous 6 homes and had a nightmare! because they would NOT count her bonuses with her income and all her history and assests due to lending changes from the banking industry's mess. Well we pulled the loan after a month of dealing with promises and more documents and we found another and she got it done! Now THAT was crazy!
Anyone that votes for Hillary truly has their head in the sand!

  12. Peter says:

She must need the Hispanic communities vote! That actually seemed staged. I think our realtor/lender associations should investigate to discredit that kind of crap!

  13. I have said this before, which is the pink elephant in the room: You should absolutely vote for the person who will procure your industry and your career, the most. If you are in Lending and/or Real Estate and you voted or will vote for the candidate who has decimated this indsutry with policy and regulation which in turn has left a few million home buyers on the sidelines, then perhaps you either don't know very much about your Industry or you have alternative agendas above and beyond your career, which is extremely interesting. In the line of prioritization, which comes first, the chicken or the egg? For me, if I don't have a career then I don't have the capacity to provide for my family. Sure, perhaps you have another bread winner in your family that allows you to act cavalier about such topics, but sometimes I wonder if people like to bite their nose off to spite their face when it comes to their industry/career.

  14. Wow, that was powerful. She should be in jail not running for president.

  15. Brian and Frank, your wimpy political disclaimer at the end just makes me sick. Are you guys to weak to call the democrats, Hillary and Bernie out for being the enemies of business and capitals am that they are?

  16. Calm down boys! Hillary is just a pandering politician during an election cycle (and here is where I will resist the urge to go off on a tanget about our utterly broken political system). And yes, there is rampant non-discriminatory hoop jumping presently occuring in our business. But your righteous indignation "even bigots need to pay the bills" is a bit overblown. I have been astounded by the number of idiots I have encountered in my life who apparently believe that money is black or white, and not green (so redlining was a myth?). And did you really expect Hillary to say "yes, young man, I apologize for the hoops you, and everyone, has to jump through that were created by ill-conceived disingenous legislation by my political breathren in response to the excesses of Wall Street." (I think I just did an unintentional plug for Bernie Sanders!)

  17. I'm sorry, I had a white female with an 828 credit score who had to jump thru hoops for a refi

  18. Kevin says:

Unbelievable, this just goes to show you how out of touch Candidate Clinton is with the mortgage lending industry.

  19. I tell ALL my clients that when getting a loan today you will get a financial colonoscopy – without anesthesia!! Gee another lie from Hillery???

  20. Dave says:

Wasn’t it Dodd and Franks who put it to minorities with the sub prime mortgages? I remember making mortgage to those who could repay with no preference as to race, creed or nationality. The problem is with folks like HIllary who continue to make comments like this knowing in the back of their heads, that every person they they force the mortgage industry to lend to, regardless of ability to repay, becomes dependent on government and will vote for socialistic, progressive liberals like Hillary Clinton.

  21. David Brown says:

Go back to the CFPB and their employee pay and advancement issues of a few months ago. Classic pot calling the kettle black.! No offence to black kettles.

  22. As long as any person's money is green, what is the difference?

  23. Rick Stockel says:

It would be comical except Hillary and Bill would get the Countrywide "friends of Angelo" loan from Morgan Stanley or some large financial firm. All animals are equal but some are more equal than others. She and Bill feel they are the later.

  24. John Mafrici says:

Now there she goes again… Hillary can't resist pandering to anyone to get a vote. Did she forget the myriad of laws designed to "protect" the consumer, creating more hoops upon hoops to jump and crawl through? Sounds like this young borrower got to experience first hand the effects of Franken-Dodd and post TRIDulation regulations.

  25. Hillary would be nailed on loan fraud before the first payment was due…

  26. Leslie De Palo says:

Echoing comments on this forum: It appears that most politicians are very far removed from the “Public” they serve. “Jumping through hoops” is part of getting a loan — no matter who you are, UNLESS, a person has friends who own a private bank willing to easily give them a loan with terrific terms. Otherwise whether wealthy or poorer, any race or age or gender, everyone must jump through hoops. Each person who gets a loan feels that they are THE only person being harassed or bothered by massive amounts of paperwork and requests to prove absolutely everything. Apparently, there is so much fraud, money laundering and a great amount of dishonest people AND so many banks are being nailed for not doing enough due diligence, that our Borrowers are considered guilty until proven innocent — the opposite of our justice system. As Loan Officers we just have to weather the storm and assist our Borrowers in this challenging process. It helps Borrowers somewhat to explain why banks are asking for so much detail, information and disclosure. Perhaps we should write letters to these Politicians to give them the boots on the ground truth of the matter…

  27. Steve Romero says:

From my lending experience, nobody sticks it to the minorities like their own people. It is laughable, but it comes back to reflect poorly on the industry as a whole.

  28. As one of those so-called "bigoted, discriminatory lenders" Clinton was talking about, I take an enormous amount of offense to this. Let me tell you, in addition to it being highly illegal in this industry to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, sex, marital status, or age, it's pointless to do so. The Housing Financial Discrimination Act and The Equal Credit Opportunity Act are both regulated by the DOJ, the CFPB and the FTC. You'd have to be seriously stupid to go up against them. Even more than that, as a lender I can personally assure you it is simply doesn't make sense to create more hoops for buyers to jump through during the underwriting process to increasingly frustrate them until they give up on wanting to purchase a home at all. Why is the world would I want to create more work for myself, force myself to have conversations where I give bad news to upset customers, and ultimately not get paid my commission for all the work I did before the loan fell through?? Even if a loan officer was a bigot, this wouldn't make sense at the individual level. Hilary Clinton shouldn't speak so publicly, and at such length, regarding issues about which she has no knowledge. This is just another reason why I won't be voting for Clinton in 2016.

  29. Towne Adams says:

    Hillary
Lying again & attempting to divide us on race. Amazing!

  30. Towne Adams says:

Hillary still lying & dividing USA on race.
Amazing how low she goes to get a vote.

  31. Dave Flohr says:

The person said he was 24 years old. Had he bought a house before so he had a reference point on how many hoops were too many? Did he have friends or family that bought a home recently as a comparison? Was he comparing it to a home a friend or family member bought 10 years ago when there were significantly less hoops? Are those the questions Hilary should have asked before going down the path she took?

  32. Can you say OUT OF TOUCH?? She has no idea what she is talking about. Sad to say this is her way to get the hispanic vote. This woman is an idiot.

  33. lonnie glessner says:

This video of Hillary’s comments prove succintly my 3 points about debating liberals. First, facts don’t matter. Second, only feelings matter. Third, you call people names. This is what every liberal does all the time.

  34. Peter Curtis says:

She shows her ignorance by just agreeing with the fine young gentleman, rather than saying lets actually look into the facts in your specific situation. Wait, that was her point. Ignore any facts and look to agree with making them feel more like a victim.
    Hillary loves her victims.

  35. Leo Chomen says:

99% agree with you but quite frankly if biggots could profit off of anyone, they would do it! Great post though!

  36. Leah Courant says:

Wow! So she’s a shameless liar or embarrassingly ignorant of how lending actually works. (IMO it’s the 1st one). Lenders are in the business of making loans. That’s it. If lenders don’t make loans, they go out of business. I have been in the industry for 26 years and worked at several different lending institutions and in all that time, the only thing that has ever mattered is if a client could qualify or not and that has nothing to do with race or ethnicity & everything to do with income, assets and credit history.

  37. Dennis Mason says:

This is very interesting that she would make this comment………I consider myself to be honest and of high morals(another slap in my face)…..And to make the comment that the lending industry is "Bigoted"…Is far from reality ….I do not discriminate against anyone …..for race religion …etc.etc..Or for even their loan amount…as I have in the last month closed a 12000 dollar mortgage…yes 12000 ..and all I received in compensation for the time I had invested was my 29.25 credit report…so as you can see I did not get paid…The client was an elderly black gentleman who qualified for the loan ..so I did it …..And the Company i sent the loan thru gave me some ^$%( cant say the word) about the loan size but did not balk at giving this gentleman the loan ..or cutting their fees to make it work with the new TRID guides…So if our industry is "Bigoted" or "discriminatory" i would like to have her enlighten me….Or as a matter of fact enlighten us all ….Because at this point i am really confused???..I have been doing loans for a long time and I do it the old way by referral ( I do not advertise) …If I were "Bigoted " (Archie Bunkerish…LOL) I would have been out of business a long time ago….I go by what is on the "Statue of Liberty" .." Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore."…Prop them up …Teach them the right way….and Bless them all onto the path of righteousness………………….

  38. Carl Reed says:

How is this not an indictment of Hillary Clinton in particular and the Democrat party generally. She is the one engaged in this ridiculous pandering and the Democrat Party proposed, passed and supports the burdensome policies of the CFPB.

  39. Carl Reed says:

How is this not an indictment of Hillary Clinton in particular and the Democrat party generally. She is the one engaged in this ridiculous pandering and the Democrat Party proposed, passed and supports the burdensome policies of the CFPB.

  40. Carl Reed says:

    Exactly what I thought, Dawn.

  41. So how much do you think Hillary paid that kid to get up and ask that question? Scary stuff….

  42. The question looks staged to me. I think Hillary just lost the few real estate industry members' votes she may have had.

  43. NANCY VIEJO says:

What do you expect from the biggest political liar since her lying, cheating piece of garbage husband. Birds of a feather. She admitted on TV that she “doesn’t recall” ever lying to the people. And half the Dems vote for her. #screwed

  44. Kathleen Schelleng says:

That is absolutely the biggest pandering and so wrong. No buyer of mine as ever been pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get a loan. Ironically, my experience has been that the very program (NACA) established to HELP minorities and subprime borrowers get home loans cost the buyer and seller more time and more money and more hoops than if they were conventional, FHA, USDA, Masshousing…if you want a 0% down and have marginal credit, expect hoops! And it has nothing to do with race and everything to do with eligibility. If you are an agent and have a NACA client, be prepared for a slow and painful ride.

  45. Brett Pavel says:

No worries. You can't take tens of millions from Big Banks and really believe this stuff. Just a token crumb thrown at the angry Bernie crowd as she terns left to pander to voters.

  46. It is not a true statement overall I will give you that…it does seam like an indictment the way you presented it…One should never make comments when they do not have the full facts, but even you two have to agree that the process is not as easy as it once was and I cannot 100% committ to the changes as not being bias and/or bigoted. Only those who actually put in the demands would know the why.

  47. Nice going guys….keeping out of politics is just too damn hard to do…

  48. Just pandering to the Hispanic vote. Being done by every candidate (except, maybe Bernie Sanders), to some demographic. It's a shame, but nothing new….typical politics.

  49. Matt Killen says:

Come on guys… Hilary said it herself.. she doesn't lie. Ithe has to be true. 🙂

  50. This ruined my morning! What an outrageous liar she is. We bend over backwards to obtain a loan for everyone we can in spite of the moronic rules established by her cronies. Thank you for your great segment. If there were any doubt as to whether or not I would vote for this woman, this clinches it. Keep up the good work, boys!

  51. Jack Ritoli says:

That question was such a rehearsed setup question for her. If it was legit, old Chuck Todd would have asked, ” Exactly what hoops did you have to go through others don’t”. She is a total fraud…..

  52. Joe DAgostini says:

Hillary Clinton will say anything to get votes! Now she wants to play the “Race Card”. Any person with any reasoning will know that her own administration is responsible for the OVER REGULATION of the mortgage industry. Dodd-Frank and now CFPB has done everything but help the consumer. Just the fact that these new agencies need to be funded is the cause for closing costs increases. As a Mortgage Banker,
I have people who score in the 800’s with very low debt ratios going through this every day. I am a commissioned individual, I am the last person who wants to see your
mortgage rejected. Hillary, look in the mirror, for you administration is the cause of all the “hoops” that everyone must now jump through.

  53. Bill Hall says:

    She is exceptional at lieing

  54. Dora Griffin says:

I saw your 50+ comment… I have a 69 yr old complaining because "this is much harder than I thought" on his refi. In reality he make multiple trips to my office because he doesn't have his paperwork organized. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

  55. Dora Griffin says:

Eric I agree with your theory. My question is this: Dems came up with Dodd Frank and we've had Repubs in house and senate for several years, so why the heck does it seem we are in a bottomless pit when it comes to making it harder and harder to buy a home, much less the costs escalating. Why haven't the repubs done something about Dodd Frank and return responsiblity to consumers? I don't think it matters who gets in office; they all think we are still living in the past.

  56. Dems create the lie, then pass all sorts of new regulation, fines, and bureaucracy to enforce solutions to their false narrative!!! ABSURD!!! Racism in lending, Global warming, White privilege … all based on LIES from the LEFT, then backed up by fixes that cost Billions and NEVER solve the problem,.. because there IS no problem … it's made up … based on their LIES!!!

  57. Bernie is NOT an enemy of business!!! Just look at his record in Vermont!

  58. Yes, Barney Frank and Chris Dodd, huge Democrats in their time. Barney a massive Liberal and Chris was probably a more moderate Dem. Ironically, both of them received special loans "Friends of Mozillo" loans back in the day. So these two characters who exploited this industry and helped it crumble to its knees and took a "sweetheart Mortgage deal', were the authors(partly) of Frank/Dodd. At that time in Dec 2009, both Congress and Senate was ran and controlled by Dems. That is how the Bill passed, which was the creation of the CFPB. Yes, the GOP now has the numbers, but they know it would be fruitless to try and dismantle it now under this administration, because Obama would simply Veto it. The only way the mess that Obama has created gets unraveled, especially giving the FSB so much power over us and allowing the FSB control to pass Bills without Senate and Congress Approval, is for a GOP to be voted in. Very simple politics here. If either feel me burn your money or hill of beans gets voted in, there is a ZERO chance any of the mess gets unraveled.

  59. Sharon Halterman Crouch

  60. Michael Flanagan says:

Yikes am having a difficult time digesting what I just heard from Brian and Frank today.

Issues-Dawn Hoffman is exactly right about Brian and Frank.

    1) The fact that Brian and Frank seem so surprised by what Clinton said is in itself quite unnerving. Like maybe in the oblivious category.

    2) For Brian and Frank to not take a forceful stand against what is patently a “false” “ignorant” “bigoted” statement by the Democratic Party’s presumptive nominee is again in itself rather shocking.

    3) Brian and Frank have just demonstrated rather clearly the triumph of “political correctness” over truth and clarity. Am again very surprised.

    4) If Brian and Frank still don’t get it, buy a clue. The clue is that the Democratic Party has been anti-bank since Day One. For them to conduct a broadcast and attempt to not address this basic fact is much like the piano player in the brothel.

  61. Sharon do you think there may have been something you did not know regarding the search made by your client's lender? I have been in the business for several years and worked with many hiispanics and have never seen a difference shown by lenders. Due to privacy issues, we as brokers and agents, do not know everything about our clients financial position, nor should we know. We have worked with many lenders and clients that don't always take care of their end of the contract contract/lending process and many times it takes months to get a contract to closing but I have never thought it was due to discrimination. Think about this why would it make a difference to the lenders what their ethnicity might be. Common sense would dictate that the lenders are in the business to make loans and to what benefit to them would it be to not process anyone's loan when they are able? They are in real estate to make a living as are all of us.

  62. Mrs Clinton obviously wants to keep racism alive. So sad.

  63. Gary J Heinecke says:

Currently I have an LED sign running in front of my office that has Capitol with money running out of it. Below it says ” VOTE FOR HILLARY!”
fOLLOWING THIS IT SAYS”kEEP LOSING EQUITY”. ANYONE REMEMBER the show that Brian did showing that Barney Frank owns an AMC? WHich one is this??

  64. My guess is she is uninformed, or she is pandering. It's driving me nuts what both party presidential candidates are willing to say to get the nomination. It's causing a huge division in our society.

  65. My guess is she is uninformed, or she is pandering. It's driving me nuts what both party presidential candidates are willing to say to get the nomination. It's causing a huge division in our society.

  66. Anyone remember the show Brian and Frank did that stated that the sponsor Barney Frank owns an AMC? I have on my LED sign a picture of money flying out of the Capitol. It says VOTE FOR HILLARY!! Keep losing equity!! Hillary has gone to the all time low. Truly shows she will say and do anything for a vote. If I have to look at her on the TV for four more years I am only going to listen to the radio!

  67. I'm in Los Angeles and I have seen lots of bigotry in lending from banks. The worst was a buyer who came to me expecting not to qualify for a loan because BoA branch she applied at said so. No only, was she qualified for a starter home, my loan broker w/o knowing the history had submitted, and got full approval, from BoA. The differnce? The underwriter couldn't see she was black. Other times similar issues have come up.

  68. Forgot to mention I'm a Realtor since 1989

  69. Rob Aubrey Well said!

  70. God I truly hate this person

  71. Did she seriously lowered her voice when saying "non-Hispanic" like it was a dirty word?

  72. She is pandering, no question about it. she will do and say anything to get the Hispanic vote.

  73. Kim says:

I sat there in disbelief and disgust to her claims. I have been In the industry 30 years and can say I have not seen discrimination – we want to see people in homes! They either qualify or they don’t. There is not a FICO score scale based on ethnicity – you have it or you don’t, same with income and assets – you have it or you don’t.
Hey media- why do t you fact check her claims and show us the proof of her claims. She is a chameleon – she will do what every

    1. Don says:

Kim, please don’t insult chameleons. Their beautiful creatures, Hillary is not. She’s an outright liar and fraud, she’s always been that way and therefore cannot change to anything better!

  74. It's unreal to me that she can even run, she is such a liar!! Unbelievable! I have been in mortgage ledning for 19 years we do NOT discrimate our goal is to assist and serve EVERYONE we can to the best of our ability as long as they QUALIFY for the loan program.

  75. I have a really hard time believing this. I am in the LA area and to a licensed loan orginator a loan is a loan is a loan. We are here to serve everyone. All that comes to mind is that maybe the original loan officer didn't know what they were doing, The big banks do not require their loan originators to be licensed so many in my opinion are under qualified. I have saved hundreds of loans from people that were turned down merely because I take pride in knowing my guidelines inside and out. So please don't confuse under qualified loan officers and bigotry. We need to stand together and stop the separtness that the likes of Hilary Clinton love to create. WE ARE ONE.

  76. All I can say is BS to Hillary!!! How scary that she is saying those things! I am getting so incredibly frustrated with our industry and the leaders of our country!

  77. Ben Yost says:

It's 2016 now! Not 1962. Just thought I would bring you up to date:-)

  78. Leo says:

Looks like the witch hasn’t fooled “all” the people, just depressing she’s fooled millions…

  79. She's a clueless liar. Will say ANYTHING to get elected. What a moron!

  80. Hillary is racist.this is why our Government is so screwed up with crap like this coming out your leading presidential candidate!

  81. Yvonne Ybarra I have a hard time believing it too. Most of the time it's not race its lack of knowledge, honesty and proper paperwork. The easy fall back is race. I've only been in the business 10 years but we deal with people of all race and never once has it ever come up.

  82. Ted Jernigan says:

Government meddling to create a different set of rules for the disadvantage is exactly what created the disasterous lending envirionment that led to the mortgage industry melt down that we are just recovering from. We are all operating under the same rules at the moment. I have never seen a borrower discriminated against because of race. My experience is people fail to qualify because of poor credit ratings and insufficient income.

  83. DAVID says:

    I am A lending Bigot.
I am bigoted against anyone who:
    1. does not have income that is reported to the IRS.
    2. Does not have a work history.
    3. Does have a credit history that show an inability to pay bills on time or a lack of desire to pay bills on time.

Other than the afore mention profile, anyone with an income, stable job history, and who pays most of their bills on time is able to get a loan to buy a primary or investment property. Heck in California someone with decidedly less than perfect credit history can buy a home with NOTHING down. NOTHING AT ALL.

  84. Wonder if Billary was ever put through the mortgage process.

  85. check out what this "Bleeding heart" democrat (but lives like "repubilcan" posted on my page, after seeing the clip (i AM SICKENED):
A reply from my posting your piece on FB:
It is much harder to get a loan in cities…We live in a beautiful enclave that is not quite like some, many places in this country. We bought a place in downtown Providence, Rhode Island a few years back. We had the money in the bank to pay for it and we could not get a loan for quite a while. One of the board members of the company where Don was working stepped in and made arrangements for the loan. He was a Goddard, a founding family of banks and of Rhode Island.Without him we were out of luck. Not in OC anymore is what we kept thinking at the time.
    My reply:
Again, we lend based on regulations and property type is one of them. need to have like for like comps, not over or under built for the area, neighborhood conformity, appraisal show property is complete (C4 condition or better). has ZERO to do with Race, Sex, area etc. there are hard money or other types of lenders who will do more, but to attach an industry as a whole is just uninformed and wrong!
    her reply:
Sorry, not meaning to be disagreeable but it really is a different world out there. And, I would not want to be a minority. It looks tough..
    my response:
what is hilarious is you used "who you know" to get what generally you / the public couldn't get (a mortgage loan)?? yet still think what the post shows is valid? What part of supremacy by you or you "friends" bank showing discrimination are you not seeing in that statement????? Getting a loan because one knows someone is one of the MAJOR parts of the Great Recession!!!! ("friends of Maziilo loans") and the same, part of the down fall of the S&L in the '80's?!?!?! Has no one learned anything!!?!? Shocking how; when ones "all comfy" how easy it is to "arm chair" opinion… Head out and actually "Work the streets" helping those with credit issues just trying to get a roof over their head, in ethical lending; then you will reconsider those thoughts / statement a of "how u got a loan because u know an officer of the bank!!?!?! seriously, I'm more disappointed than ever…
    their reply:
I love how sanctimonious you are. Obviously, I should not have shared what was real for me and not for a black person. Not arm chair. Reality. Not a bank "VP" an owner of the bank. And, actually, I did the same thing in 1984 to get a loan in Orange County. That is white privilege. Knowing who can help. I doubt there are very many people who can help someone in Watts! Stop whining! It is unbecoming!
at that point, I was SOOOO disgusted (the fact she thought it OK to use her white/ financial influance was not an issue/ continued to use, regardless of her public vote / opinioin), I posted this… guess what, crickets, haven't heard a peep:
What's the name of the bank? Would love to let the regulators know they are participating in UN-fair lending practices.

  86. Unbelievably insulting…. Why does this not surprise me?

  87. Joe Staub says:

So very sad that the leading candidate for the Presidency is USING race and promoting race to get into the oval office. In the last week, this clip about our industry and quoting "Jim Crow" when discussing limiting voting rights (heaven forbid we verify who that person is that is voting!). Stoking the fire and outright lies, welcome to our political world!

  88. Jae Evans says:

Please take a few minutes to listen to the crap that Hillary Clinton is spewing amount mortgage lenders. She has no clue and it seems she will say anything to attract a vote. The increased requirements to obtain a home mortgage loan are the results of new rules crafted by the Consmers Financial Protection Bureau. AND they are a requirement of ALL lenders for ALL applicants. The CFPB is a government created entity folks that was created as a result of the Dodd-Frank Act and as a result the regulatory burden placed on thousands of community banks is onerous. And unfortunately it has consequences for consumers as well…..not all good.

  89. Joe Gonzalez says:

We are commission paid sales people. I don't care if you're black, white, chinese, hispanic, indian or whatever else – my commission check reads the same when I or any other loan officer closes their loan. I once had someone comment to me that I was racist because we couldn't approve their loan. I look like a white american however I'm actually Puerto Rican (read, write & speak fluent spanish) with a white grandfather & a black grandmother married to a country music loving white girl from Texas!! LOL

  90. John Stoltz says:

The Clinton's are some of the slimiest politicians ever and they continue to get by with it, because the American people are too stupid to challenge them, thinking that the Clinton's will take care of them. How dumb can a person be?
