HAve you guys heard of Arch MI? These guys smoke any other MI's companies MI Rates. Just saying. I just found out about them in February. Our Company became approved with them, gave them a try and their rates are better than everyone's, including National MI.
VA Loans are great until the underwriter gets a hold of them and then the fun starts. Between VA rules and regulations and lender overlays you might close 3 out of 10.
Two years ago I sold a house to a 91 year old veteran using the VA loan. He had used VA before, years ago. Now moving from the farm to town he decided to use it again. All went well and he lived in the new construction house for almost 2 years before passing away. He was very happy for having the VA benefits.
